Does not climb walls, clean floors, or operate as intended in the pool
Environmental changes may call for recalibration of the sensors. To recalibrate your PoolBot, first open the cover and remove the filter basket to find out your serial number. Then follow the instructions below to recalibrate the sensors.
Before recalibrating ensure the provided foam pads are inserted into the PoolBot. Instructions on inserting the foam pad can be found here.
For serial numbers starting with W100A
- Before initiating the calibration process, ensure the PoolBot is powered off. If a single press doesn't turn it off, press and hold the power button until the PoolBot indicator light turns OFF.
- Press the power button 5 times, toggling between ON and OFF. On the 5th press, hold the button until the indicator's Cyan light turns green.
- Then, press the power button twice again, alternating between ON and OFF. After the 2nd press, observe a flashing yellow light on the indicator, indicating that the robot is calibrating its sensors. You may notice movement during this process. Wait until the indicator turns Green to signify completion of the calibration.
- Power Off: Hold down the power button until the green light turns off.
For serial numbers starting with WY100
- Before initiating the calibration process, ensure the PoolBot is powered off. If a single press doesn't turn it off, press and hold the power button until the PoolBot indicator light turns OFF.
- Press the power button 11 times, toggling between ON and OFF. On the 11th press, hold the button until the indicator's Cyan light turns green.
- Then, press the power button 5 times again, alternating between ON and OFF. Wait until the indicator turns Green to signify completion of the calibration.
